Structural Damage Inspection & Assessment

Cracks don't lie.
But they rarely tell
the whole story.

We do more than look at your building. We read it — crack patterns, load paths, member behaviour, corrosion risk. You receive a clear, compliant engineering report with root cause analysis and a precise action plan. Not guesswork. Not vague recommendations. Engineering answers.

Does your building have any of these?

Wall or column cracks
Concrete spalling / exposed steel bars
Ceiling leakage or damp patches
Floor settling or tilting
Rust stains on concrete surface
Building above 15 years old with no inspection

Here's exactly what happens when you book an inspection.

You WhatsApp or Call

Reach out and describe your building's condition. Send a few photos if possible. We will review the symptoms and advise if a diagnostic inspection is required.

We Schedule Within 48 Hours

We respect your time. Once confirmed, we lock in a site visit schedule. You will know exactly when the engineer is arriving at your property.

On-Site Inspection

A comprehensive visual survey. We conduct rigorous crack mapping, evaluate load paths, and assess member behaviour to identify the true source of structural distress.

Lab & NDT Testing (If Required)

If visual assessment is insufficient, we deploy Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to measure internal concrete strength and corrosion levels without breaking your structure.

You Receive the Engineering Report

Within days, you receive a clear, IS-Code compliant assessment. We detail the root cause of every defect and provide a precise, actionable repair strategy.

Who books a structural inspection with us?

Homeowner

Cracks appeared after heavy rain or adjacent construction, and you are worried about your family's long-term safety.

Factory / Warehouse

Managing an ageing industrial building and require independent safety confirmation, load-capacity checks, or compliance verification.

Property Buyer

Considering the purchase of an older building. You want an independent, unbiased structural assessment before finalizing the payment.

Builder / Developer

You need a certified structural inspection report before a property handover, or to assess feasibility prior to major renovations.

What you receive after your inspection.

Ambiguity has no place in structural engineering. Following our visit, you receive a comprehensive Site Inspection Report. We translate visual symptoms into clear engineering insights, giving you a definitive understanding of your building's condition and the precise steps required to restore it.

  • Site Inspection Report
  • Crack mapping & distress documentation with high-resolution photographs
  • Precise root cause analysis of each identified defect

One inspection report. A significantly better purchase price.

The Situation

A client was negotiating to purchase a 20-year-old commercial property in Chennai for investment. Before finalizing the payment, they requested an independent assessment.

What We Found

Our visual and diagnostic inspection uncovered severe structural distress that was painted over, alongside pervasive internal water leakage degrading the core reinforcements.

The Outcome

Armed with our comprehensive engineering report detailing the exact cost of required structural remediation, the client successfully renegotiated the purchase price downward, saving significantly more than the cost of our fee.

You saved my money. The seller insisted the building was perfect, but your report gave me the exact leverage and proof I needed.

Questions we hear often.

Clear answers before you book your inspection.

How long does a structural inspection take?

Most residential building inspections take between 2 to 4 hours on-site. Commercial or multi-story structures may require a full day depending on the building's footprint and the complexity of the distress. Your official Site Inspection Report will be delivered within 3-5 business days after the visit.

Will you break any part of my building during the inspection?

No. Our standard diagnostic inspection is entirely non-destructive and visual. If we determine that invasive testing (such as core cutting or concrete chipping) is absolutely necessary to check internal rebar corrosion, we will explicitly request your permission and quote it separately before proceeding.

Do I get a report I can show to a repair contractor?

Yes. You receive a comprehensive, IS-Code compliant Site Inspection Report detailing exactly what is failing and why. It provides precise engineering direction that you can hand directly to your contractor. This ensures repairs are executed correctly, rather than relying on a contractor's guesswork.

Do you inspect properties outside of Chennai?

Yes. We serve clients throughout Tamil Nadu. While our engineering headquarters are in Chennai, we frequently travel for significant residential, commercial, and industrial inspections. Standard travel fees may apply based on the exact distance to your site.

What is the difference between visual inspection and NDT testing?

A visual inspection maps visible distress (cracks, spalling, settlement) and evaluates load paths to diagnose the root cause. Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) uses specialized equipment (like Rebound Hammers or Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity) to scan inside the concrete, measuring internal compressive strength and concealed flaws without breaking the structure.

Is your building safe? Find out before it becomes a crisis.

Structural problems worsen silently. What costs ₹5,900 to inspect today may cost ₹5,00,000 to repair next year.
